SUBJECT: AIBA New 4 Year Plan 2014 – 2018

Dear Presidents, Secretaries General and Boxing Family,

The 2014 AIBA Congress just ended with a lot of satisfaction and great achievements recognized by all participating delegates, global boxing family, media/press, and especially by the international sports community.

In this regard, I would like to share my feelings that these great accomplishments could only be possible thanks to your support and contributions in the last 4 years.

The Congress also staged to set a new 4 year plan that our organization and sport should head. Therefore, I am very pleased to send to you the below summary of plans which I have presented to the Congress and which received an unanimous approval.

For the next 4 years, I would like to propose to concentrate on achieving the following missions:

 To stabilize the status of AIBA with regard to the governance of the global boxing community worldwide

 To increase the commercial values of AOB, APB and WSB programs and to enhance the quality of competitions

 To embrace all outsiders of our organization to build a globally united entity to pave the way and govern the sport of boxing in all its forms

 To invest all possible sources to re-establish a grassroots level of our sport for a massive participation in boxing in the future including supporting club level activities (Strengthen the Roles of Confederations)

 To support Confederations to enhance their administrative capability

 To set up a system to lead development programs of National Federations

 To assist Confederations’ PR and Marketing programs to create a self-sufficient funding system in the future

 To change the roles of AIBA from a direct involvement in Continental Competitions to an assisting position

 To support the upgrade of the overall status of Confederations in AIBA organizations (Development of New Leadership)

 To change all Commission Chairpersons with role adjustments

 To put more efforts to get some Women’s leadership in our sport

 To provide additional opportunities to current Young Leaders at all levels of Technical Officials for further AIBA management
